National Creditors Rights Attorneys Introduction:

Creditors Rights Attorneys work to collect overdue payments from debtors to be paid to lenders. This practice can include but is not limited to: medical bill collections, past due credit card payments, unpaid home or car loan, bad checks, and student loan deficiencies. They are sometimes referred to as Collection Attorneys. Much of a Creditors Rights Attorney’s job is done outside the courtroom through a series of letters and phone calls to coerce the debtors to pay amounts owed and applicable interest without going to trial. Amounts due may be collected in the form of seizing assets including personal property and garnishing of wages.

Other areas of the practice include helping victims of mass tort liabilities collect money owed. A mass tort is when a case has many plaintiffs and one or a few corporate defendants. For example, a large company declares a massive recall of a poisonous product. They may file for bankruptcy or do some other sort of corporate restructuring in order to hide assets so they will not have to pay injury claims in full. In this case, the victims of said products would be considered creditors. A Creditors Rights Attorney would represent them to collect money owed.
