The owner of the plant has been accused of negligence, with the lawsuit claiming that he failed to get combustible dust cleaned up, and this then led to the devastating blast that killed the plaintiff's husband amongst others.

A former Peoria police lieutenant has filed another lawsuit against City Hall over an alleged racial discrimination incident from over three years ago. Marshall Dunnigan was passed over for promotion over three years ago, and has filed a lawsuit that alleges racial discrimination. The lawsuit was filed late last week in District Court in Peoria.

A federal lawsuit has been filed by New Mexicans who were protesting against President George Bush last year, who was appearing as part of a fund raising event.
