Hell’s Angels File Lawsuit

Two Hell’s Angels have filed a lawsuit recently, claiming that the group is being discriminated against by Midlothian authorities, and that the police chief and the mayor in Midlothian are trying to run the group and other similar groups out of town.

The lawsuit was filed in Cook County Circuit Court, with the Angels claiming that members were being turned away from a number of restaurants and bars in the town. The plaintiffs have claimed that the mayor and police chief have held meetings with the town’s businesses and demanded that they turn the Hell’s Angels away.

An attorney working on the case said: “Any club has legitimate rights as long as they fulfill a legitimate purpose. (Authorities) want to compare (Hell’s Angels) to other illegal organizations, and that’s neither proper nor right.”

He went on to state that witnesses who had attended the alleged meetings between authorities and business owners has said that bikers had been described as “nothing but thieves, cheats, liars, dangerous troublemakers… all you will get from them is a firebomb to the window and the raping of your old lady.”
