Disney Being Sued by Heart Attack Girl

Posted:

A lawsuit has been filed against Disney after a teenage girl suffered a heart attack on one of its white knuckle rides at one of the Disney parks. The girl, who was then sixteen, was on a family holiday to Florida when she went on the Tower of Terror ride at Disney’s MGM studios.
After getting off the ride the girl said that she felt light headed and shaky, and when he condition got even worse paramedics were called in. Whilst she was being rushed to hospital her heart stopped, but medics managed to get it going again.

As a result of the incident the girl has now sustained brain damage, and this means that she will need to be cared for around the clock. The incident occurred three years ago, and now nineteen year old Leanne Deacon and her mother have filed the lawsuit against the entertainment giant.

The Deacons come from the UK, and are seeking in excess of ten thousand pounds (around fourteen hundred and fifty dollars), stating that Disney was negligent in the design and operation of the ride, and that adequate warnings about the ride were not given.
